Cayden fell while we were outside with Mom and Dad this past weekend. Once he landed in the water it was on lots of splashing and laughing. I will have to get some better pictures from Mom later and post them...

Visiting Becky

Charlie and I headed down to Natchitoches last Sat to visit his good friend Rebecca. The last time we were able to visit with her was at our wedding which has been some time ago now. Her family held a crawfish boil for her birthday so we were really excited to see her and eat crawfish!! We had a great time visiting and showing off our Cayden and meeting her boyfriend. Just as luck would have it my best friend Becky was also in town that day for a wedding so on our way out of town we crashed the reception to visit with Becky. Here are a few pics of Cayden, Becky, and I.

Well, not to much happening this morning in the ER. It'll get nuts by noon though. I have off most of next week, and have a few projects to catch up on, plus I must do some heavy duty cramming for the nclex. I take my exam onthe 23rd, next Monday. Stressed!!! Anyway, gotta finish bettys cookbook, mow my jungle of a yard, store some boxes, and who knows what else. Anywho, if it's not too craZy I'll post up some stories from the er!

Workin these days

I started work last week, just classroom orientation type stuff. This week, I am down in the ER working. It's been really nice being in the nursing role, as opposed to a studentor tech position. Nothing crazy has happened yet, but we have seen a few people, so I'm feeling more and more confident every day.

Mountain bikers take over Mardi Gras!

Today, the Mtb cycling group I am apart of staged a takeover of one of the local parades. I thought we secured a spot the honest way, but turns out we just boss - hawg'd our way in there, and rode anyway. Lots of fun throwing beads and coins at people, especially from my bike!

Well its more like a sliver of a tooth right now, but its there and sharp!! I found it super bowl sunday while playing with him. He thought it would be a good idea to bite my nose and I felt something sharp. Yay to Cayden!!!

Well CHarlie and I finally hit the trails and I got to ride with my new clipless pedals. The ride was quite successful...until the very end when I hit the sand and came to a stop. I clipped out just fine on the right side turned to talk to Charlie and in doing so leaned left the side I did not unclip from...not smart.. so down I went. My loving husband who had been waiting the entire ride for me to crash grabbed his camera phone while I layed impaled on the reed still clipped in. Thanks Charlie for these great photo memories...
