Memorial Day
Well what a fun weekend first we started out with the Gaither reunion. It is always great to get to see dads side of the family!! We are only able to get together about once a year and we always have a great time. Will post pictures as soon as I get them uploaded... Then back to shreveport so Charlie could work on Sunday, but then today rolled around and we got to make two bbqs!!! We had a great day seeing friends and family... cant wait to do it again next year!!!

Back from our trip
Well after seven long but fun filled days we are finally back in the port city. Where do I start...
Left Sunday night late for Dallas arrived around 11pm and had to get up around 3.30am for our flight the next morning. Flying with the baby was cake he is soooo great!! Never cried or even noticed he was in the air. Charlie had him strapped on his chest with the baby bjorne and he just slept through everything. Arrived in Denver to make our connection and meet up with seven other managers. He did just fine on that flight also. Arrived in Moab went and ate lunch at a brewery and then headed off to the lodge. We made the hour plus long trip up and down and up and down the mountains to get to the lodge. We think he got bumped around quite a bit on the trip up the mountian and was sore due to him being a bit fussy, but the next day he was back to his good ole self. That night was the only night we had any problems from him at all and it could be due to us trying to make him sleep in a crib on the drafty floor. From then on out we let him sleep in his carseat on a bench next to the bed. Charlie was great just like Mr Mom for the week aside from the feedings Charlie did it all!! Made it really easy for me to have my meeting and participate. Overall we had a great trip got to see many beautiful sights and experienced tons of exciting things. I am soooo glad we were able to go!!!
Other than that I will update later im pooped...off to bed for me....

Traveling with the baby....
Well Charlie and I have our trip worked out finally..I tried to back out of the managers meeting this year, but the company persuaded me to attend. The have been nice enough to also bring Charlie and Cayden this year. We are leaving Monday morning early (545 am) and returning Friday evening. So Charlie and I are off to the meeting and will be back later this week...wish us luck that Cayden is a good travler!
